Is there any way of having a land line telephone without bt as they are completley hopeless does anyone know ?
have been waiting for bt to repair line for six weeks in fairnes they have sent an engineer twice though not when they said they would and he wasnt trained to mend the problem when he got there he said they then declared the problem mended told me it was something complicated called a dax on the telegraph pole op the street next day it was out of order again only now its a NEW fault not an ongoing problem so iv been without the phone for two more weeks so far , i would just love to deal with a provider who is better organized than this , i dont feel i am fussy but think bt are really rubbish . is it possible to do without them and lead a calmer life ?

id deffo recomend talktalk, theres not a huge difference in my bill but prob a bit cheaper than BT. but if i take into account the free broadband i recieve theres a real saving. talktalk was having issues getting people connected but thats resolved now,my broadbands no better but no worse than AOL. Its saving me a moth tho..not to be sneezed at
